This set of four carving knives is meant for fine detail cuts.  Great for doing detailed feather work on birds or waterfowl carving projects.

The blades are made from discarded high speed steel drill bits and are held captive with a reinforcing cup made from brass rifle casings.

This particular set is made for right handed carvers.  Held like a pencil, the profiled handle cradles between the base of your thumb and forefinger for better control and comfort.  This handle style is something I came up with in the early 90’s.
